Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpica Suites, Barcelona

The hotel was very nice and very clean, although the rooms are rather tight. The service was so friendly and helpful, but there were some unhappy staff members. The location was quiet but great for the tube and beach, though not very convenient for finding taxis easily. The dining was very good, but lacked variety. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.

The hotel didn't quite meet our expectations as we were surprised with two single beds pushed together instead of a double, and the room overlooked a dusty street with no view. Despite this, the room was adequate but slightly dated and in need of some renovation. The hotel seemed less busy than anticipated given the time of year. The location was not the most convenient, being in a more industrial area, but it was a short walk to metro stations and about a 20-minute walk to the beach.

The hotel is quite spacious, with a rather comfortable bed. The rooms have a bath, normal shower, and even a rainshower all in one place. However, the cups were never changed in my room, and the hotel could have been more helpful with providing tourist attraction information.

The hotel had a lovely walk-in bathroom and good Aircon in the room but unfortunately, it smelled of cigarettes and was very hot, even with the window open initially and with the 'aircon' on overnight. The staff were nice overall but not very friendly in the spa area and had a tendency to enter the room despite signs and misplace personal items. The location was quite good, close to Metro stations and safe, offering relaxation opportunities and access to touristic destinations. The dining experience was consistently nice with various possibilities, although slightly limited in options for some.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were almost perfect, though I noticed a few bobbles on the throw over blanket from time to time. I booked what I thought was a spacious room but felt a bit cheated as it was way too small to comfortably place my suitcase.
